The base of the mouse sweeps out to the side, giving space for the thumb to rest without worry of it dragging on. This helps a bit for larger hands, though mine still felt slightly cramped, with my pinky and ring finger jammed together on the right side. The mouse’s sides curl under just enough to provide a solid grasp, but Logitech doubles down with rubberized grips. Tweaks to the styling, buttons, and hardware of the G502 family have seen seen various members shift slightly in appearance from generation to generation, but the G502 X Plus plainly has its roots in the family. It does feel like it’s missing a few perks that one might expect at this high price, and its fancy tracking and smorgasbord of buttons are held back slightly by a propensity for misclicks. It's expensive, but you get a lot for your money, including the addition of wireless connectivity over the standard G502 X, and RGB lighting over the dark G502 X Lightspeed.
